About 35 new superhero movies and series are coming! Part – 2

Not one or two, but 35 superhero movies and series are coming soon. Out of which we discussed 10 movies in the previous article.

Among those 10 movies, there are 3 films from DC Universe, such as Blue Beetle, Joker: Folie a Deux, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. There are also 6 Marvel movies and series, namely – Loki Season 2, Kraven the Hunter, The Marvels, Echo, Ironheart, and X-Men ’97 will be released soon.
Rather than this an on-spin series from the popular super-hero series The Boys, Gen V is also releasing soon.

However, the list of superhero movies does not end here. Both DC and Marvel have multiple more films in their timeline. Let’s take a look at what films DC and Marvel have in their timeline.

New Upcoming Superhero Movies -

1. What If…? Season 2 (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

After the first season, Marvel is all set to bring the second season of its anthology series. It is an animated series, the first season of which was released on August 11, 2021, on Disney+. The second season of this series is ready to come this year according to the news of various entertainment media.

2. Agatha: Coven of Chaos (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

With superheroes, many web series and movies are being made with supervillains. Again, many supervillains, appear as villains but slowly becoming superheroes, such as Loki. However, Marvel is ready to bring another villain from their universe in their new series. That villain is Agatha Harkness. Don’t remember? Witch of the WandaVison series. Kathryn Hahn will be seen playing the role of Agatha. The series is slated to release this year on Disney+.

3. The Penguin – (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

Max will feature, a spin-off series about the underworld’s Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a The Penguin from the Robert Pattinson-starring, Matt Reeves-directed movie The Batman in 2022. The series is slated to release in 2024 and will have 8 episodes. Colin Farrell will play the role of The Penguin in the series.

4. Madame Web (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

Madame Web is a character from Sony’s Spiderman universe, who possesses powers similar to Spiderman. Dakota Johnson of Fifty Shades of Gray and Fifty Shades of Darker will play the role of Madame Web. The film also stars Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Tahar Rahim, Isabela Merced, and others. The movie is slated to hit the theaters on February 16, 2024.

5. Deadpool 3 (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

Deadpool is one of the most popular movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the main reason why Deadpool 3 will be even more popular is that Logan a.k.a the Wolverine, will also be seen in this film. Both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds confirmed this information on Social Media platforms. The film is slated to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.

6. Daredevil: Born Again (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

The first season of the Daredevil web series was released in 2015. The second season was released in 2016 and the third season of the Daredevil web series was released in 2018. Now it’s time for Daredevil: Born Again series which is slated to release in 2024. As before, Charlie Cox will be seen as Daredevil.

7. Captain America: Brave New World (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, we saw Steve Rogers took retire and gave his shield to his fellow warrior Sam Wilson. Sam Wilson became the new Captain America, who was also Falcon in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series released on March 19, 2021, on Disney+. This time Sam Wilson a.k.a Falcon will be the new Captain America in the new Marvel Universe movie, Captain America: Brave New World. Anthony Mackie will be seen as Sam Wilson. The film is slated to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.

8. Thunderbolts (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

The background of Thunderbolts is very interesting. According to various entertainment sources, the Thunderbolts are a group of Marvel villains who will take on the role of saviors to save the world after the death of the Avengers. This film will conclude the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is slated to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.

9. Spider-Man: Freshman Year (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

The recently released Spider-Man animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a sequel of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. But this time Spider-Man is going to come as an animation series, named Spider-Man: Freshman Year. The series is slated for release on Disney+ in 2024.

10. Marvel Zombies (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

The fifth episode of the first season of “What If…?”, titled What If… Zombies?!, is where Marvel first introduced its audience to Marvel Zombies. Now the new web series, Marvel Zombies will start from there. However, it should be noted that this series is not intended for children and it will be Marvel’s first animated series to be released with a TV-MA rating. TV-MA-certified series is for adults only. No release date has been fixed for this season. However, it is slated to release on Disney+ in 2024.

11. Blade (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

90’s kids are very much aware of another Marvel character, Blade. After the release of Blade in 1998, Blade II in 2002, and Blade: Trinity in 2004. After that, Blade franchise never made any films. But now, it looks like, Blade is returning and the film is going to be called Blade Reboot, which is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025.

12. Fantastic Four (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

Fantastic Four was first released in 1994. Then in 2005, Fantastic Four was released again, with new actors. In the 2007, the sequel Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver was released. However, this time Fantastic Four is coming again which is said to be released on May 2, 2025 and obviously with new casts and crews.

13. Superman: Legacy (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

James Gunn and Peter Saffron have announced that a film, titled Superman: Legacy will be released under the DC Universe. The film will be directed by James Gunn and will feature a supergroup, called The Authority, according to variety entertainment channels. The film is slated to release on July 11, 2025.

14. The Batman Part Two (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

One of the most popular films of the DC Universe, The Batman Part Two, can be released on October 3, 2025. While the film, directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, is not part of the official DC Universe, it will be part of DC Elseworlds. The film is said to feature Two-Face and Joker as villains.

15. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (New Upcoming Superhero Movies)

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is one of the last two movies of Marvel’s sixth phase. This film will release in 2026. Jonathan Majors will play the role of Kang in this film.
