The third day of the 76th Cannes Film Festival also saw a fashion frenzy on the red carpet. Bollywood actresses Esha Gupta, Manushi Chillar, Sara Ali Khan, and Urvashi Rautela walked the Cannes red carpet alongside a bevy of foreign film stars. Apart from Urvashi, three other actresses made their Cannes red carpet debut this year.
This year’s Cannes Film Festival started on May 16 this year and will continue till May 27. Popular actresses Aishwarya Rai, Mrunal Thakur, and Urvashi Rautela walked the Cannes red carpet on the third day.
1. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:
Popular actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, was the first Indian actress to walk the red carpet in Cannes in 2002. She walked the red carpet in a Neeta Lulla saree alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the premiere of Devdas. Not only that, she also became the first Indian actress to be a jury member at Cannes. In 2004, she walked the red carpet as L’Oreal’s brand ambassador.
2. Urvashi Rautela:
This is the second year for Urvashi who made her Bollywood debut in 2013. She has walked the Cannes red carpet before also. This is the third day, after the first day of Cannes, this actress walked the red carpet of Cannes in a different way today.
3. Mrunal Thakur:
Mrunal, who entered the acting world through television serials, is now one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. After Bollywood films Super 30, Batla House, Jersey, this actress left her mark in the Telugu film Sita Ramam. The actress was seen at Cannes today in an outfit designed by Anamika Khanna.
