Which Indian films made their way to Cannes?
This year’s Cannes Film Festival started on May 16 and will continue till May 27. Apart from foreign films, 4 Indian films will be screened at this year’s Cannes, including Kennedy, Agra, Nehemich, and Ishanou.
Kennedy: Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film stars Rahul Bhatt, Sunny Leone, Abhishek Thapliyal and among others. The film was selected in the Midnight Screening category.
Agra: Another Indian film, which will be screening at Cannes this time, is Agra. Directed by Kanu Bhel, the film stars Rahul Roy, Priyanka Bose, Vibha Chibbar, Sonal Jha, Anchal Goswami, Ruhani Sharma, and Mohit Aggarwal among others. The film was selected in the Directors’ Fortnite category.
Nehemich: This film has been selected in the short film category. The film is produced by FTII alumni Judhajit Bose.
Ishanou: 1990 Indian film Isaanu, directed by Aribam Shyam Sharma. has been selected in the classic category. The film will be shown in Cannes for the second time. The film was previously screened at Cannes in 1991. At that time the film was shown in the Un Certain category.

1. Mrunal Thakur:
